The stages involved in our consultancy service are

'Healthcheck' and Business Case
The 'healthcheck' is the first stage of our lifecycle
where Grange agrees the business objectives with your
project
sponsor.
Usually the objective is to save cost, but may also
involve service improvement or resolution of specific
issues. During this stage we collect performance data,
interview key stakeholders and analyse/benchmark key
performance measures. The ‘healthcheck’
recommends actions to generate cost savings of 20%.
Upon agreement of these actions we produce a business
case. The business case will involve 'insourcing',
outsourcing or both.
'Insourcing'
Where functions are retained in-house this is described
as ‘insourcing’. Our sourcing strategy
will involve retaining some or all functions in-house.
In
order to save cost and improve performance of these
functions, we can manage a change programme utilising
outsourcing techniques. In this programme we will be
focusing on productivity, throughput, service metrics
and third party costs.
Grange consultants are able to manage the change
programme, coach and develop your
team and/or supply interim managers for key roles.
Outsourcing
If we recommend outsourcing as part of your sourcing
strategy we can guide you through the complete process.
We can help to identify your requirements, complete
the tendering process, select your supplier, negotiate
the contract and set up the contract management team.
We are also able to coach and develop your staff to
ensure they have the right skills to manage the new
contract.
Performance Review
At the end of the programme you will have a new organisation
and a new profit/cost base. The performance review
highlights
achievement against the business case. It will also
focus on your people in terms of morale, key relationships
and skills. It is vital that you have the right team
in place to manage your business going forward. |
